Magical Christmas time in Europe
Prague, Czech Republic
December 6th – 13th, 2020
Maximum of 10 travelers per trip
The first month of winter and the last month of the year. Family, friendship, love, travel, wine, laughter. December speaks to us in many ways. What is December to you?
Make it a December to remember, while exploring the magical Christmas time in Europe.
We will start our winter wonder-week with a train ride from the capital of the Czech Republic Prague to Vienna, Austria.
Gotta get back in time. Hope you don’t mind.
Vienna, a city shaped by Mozart, Beethoven, and Sigmund Freud will be home for three days, the magic will start under the same roof where Monarchs and heads of state stayed, and Johann Strauss celebrated his stage anniversary, The Vienna State Opera.
Wiener schnitzel, Sacher cake, Christmas markets, Austrian vineyard visit, and the world-famous Vienna State Opera are only the beginning of our December to remember.
With music in our hearts and suitcases on the train, we will continue our travel back in time to Hungary’s capital, Budapest. Pálinka, a traditional fruit brandy will awaken our senses and connect us to the city in addition to traditional Hungarian dishes, like Chicken Paprikash, Goulash, and poppy seed bread pudding that we will not only savor but also learn how to prepare.
Just like the Chain Bridge that connects Buda and Pest sides across the Danube, on our second and final day in Hungary will unify with the country as we cruise on the Danube river, dazzled by the city lights while sipping on local wines and eating freshly prepared food by our private chef on board.
Scenic drive through the Hungarian countryside will bring us to the enchanted city, Zagreb, Croatia.
The last two days of our fairytale, we will be hidden in the city center among the walls of the oldest standing building in Zagreb. We will visit the city’s fountain that’s transformed into a light display, explore secret underground tunnels, and enrich our Croatian experience at the family dinner table.
As the night falls the city calls. We will go on a secret underground tunnel hunt, followed by a traditional dinner with Croatian families where glass is always half full, but never full enough. When the morning comes we ride with a cable car to the upper town where the view of each rooftop tells a different story.
